Miu Miu to Headline Art Basel Paris 2024 as Major Partner

Art Basel Paris has unveiled further details for its highly anticipated 2024 edition, along with a city-wide Public Program that promises to be a cultural landmark. A significant highlight is the collaboration with Miu Miu, the renowned fashion house, which will serve as the official partner for the Public Program. Miu Miu‘s participation will take shape through a special project titled «Tales & Tellers» at the historic Palais d’Iéna, blending art and fashion in an innovative and exciting way.

The Public Program will take place across several iconic Parisian locations, showcasing a wide range of free exhibitions, monumental sculptures, and curated installations by both French and international artists. Among the prominent names featured are Jesse Darling, Jean-Charles de Quillacq, Niki de Saint Phalle, Yayoi Kusama, and Thomas Schütte. This year’s edition will expand its reach with the addition of five new venues, including the Domaine national du Palais-Royal and the Petit Palais, further cementing Art Basel’s strong connection to Paris and its rich cultural heritage.

In addition to these artistic offerings, the fair will shine a spotlight on various thematic booths focused on Surrealism and Arte Povera. Highlights will include a showcase of luminaries from both Modern and contemporary art scenes. Furthermore, media representatives have been given exclusive access to detailed information about the galleries’ presentations across the show’s key sections: Galeries, Emergence, and Premise.

Another exciting feature will be the return of The Art Basel Shop, curated by Sarah Andelman, featuring bespoke lifestyle items that reflect the essence of the fair. On this occasion, exclusive products inspired by the artistic collective Claire Fontaine will be available for purchase.

Also new this year is Oh La La!, an initiative that brings together 33 galleries to display unexpected or rarely-seen artworks, creating a vibrant artistic journey throughout the Grand Palais during the latter half of the week.

The 2024 edition of Art Basel Paris will take place from October 18-20, with VIP preview days scheduled for October 16 and 17. With world-class exhibitions and a bustling agenda of cultural events, it promises to be an extraordinary moment for the French capital.
